Created in 2021, and stemming from Westmoreland County’s Planning District Process, the Alle-Kiski Intergovernmental Council (AK IGC) is a voluntary organization made up of eight member governments located in the northwestern area of Westmoreland County. Members meet regularly to discuss, plan, and take on joint-intergovernmental activities to overcome shared challenges facing the region.
